With so much choice of outdoor activities we can tailor your break to the activities your group enjoys. Here are a few ideas:
Running Breaks: held at any of the accommodation sites this break consists of guided trail running each morning and free time in the afternoon. For the more adventurous why not head out on your bike for a couple of hours or at a more leisurely pace perhaps sample the mill shopping or visit a local tourist attraction before heading back to your accommodation for afternoon tea and then a well-deserved thermal experience before your evening meal. Longer/shorter run options are available depending upon level and experience.
Walking Breaks: full or half-day guided walking breaks available from all accommodation options. Transport is provided to and from the walks and a packed lunch can be provided if the full day option is required.
There are endless options available for your level of walking, from the majestic Pendle Hill to the rugged moorland or tranquil waterways, the area has many options to suit your ability. Such a well-kept secret it is that you can walk for hours without seeing a soul!
Triathlon Breaks: available at the Woodland Spa accommodation only where there is the use of a 25-metre pool and fully-equipped gym. Triathletes of any level can be catered for with a mix of guided running and cycling but of course allowing time to relax in the thermal suite and sample the fine cuisine to keep you fuelled.
Multi-Activity Breaks: Staying at any of the accommodation options these breaks are great if you want to try a variety of activities. As an example you can enjoy a guided trail run, a guided bike ride, have a go at archery and indoor karting, test your nerve at the high ropes course and if you need some rest, a spa experience is recommended!
